Jason Van Valkenburg is the President and founder of Legacy Companies. Out of his desire to help people navigate the complexities of modern finance, Jason has crafted a distinguished approach to building, maintaining, and protecting wealth and well-being for individuals, all in one place. Born and raised in Oklahoma, Jason played baseball at Phillips University and Northeastern State before transitioning from educator to Fortune 500 market executive. More than two decades ago, he co-founded his first Legacy agency, Legacy Insurance Advisors, alongside Russ Scott. I’m Sarah Hoffman, a real estate agent serving buyers, sellers, and property management clients across the Tulsa metro and Wagoner County. Before stepping into a client-facing role, I spent nearly two years working inside Legacy Realty Advisors, handling transaction coordination and marketing from the inside out.
That experience gave me a front-row view of what makes a real estate transaction feel smooth, thoughtful, and well-managed. I understand the details, communication, timelines, and moving parts that help clients feel supported every step of the way.
Outside of real estate, I co-own a plumbing company, teach group fitness, run social media marketing, and serve on two non-profit boards. My husband is a firefighter with the City of Coweta, and I’m a proud mom of two.
